Step 2: Configure Your Counter

Now that you've selected a counter style, you only need to:

- enter your web site's URL and
- configure your counters settings. After this, you're counter will be ready to use.

Select the miminum number of digits to display in your counter

By default your counter will always have at least six digits, so it would normally start at 000001. You can change this if you'd like. For example, if you select 3 minimum digits, your counter will start off at 001. Your counter will automatically use additional digits when it "outgrows" the minimum digits you select.

Set the starting number for your counter

If you've already been measuring hits to your web page, you can start this new counter right where you left off. If this is your first counter, you'll probably want to leave the starting value at zero.
